Hey, I’m Martel Matthews, entrepreneur, faith-driven motivator, and the founder of Martel Takes Charge.
My story isn’t squeaky clean or sugarcoated. It’s filled with hard lessons, losses, moments of doubt, and incredible comebacks. Six generations of my family have passed in just ten years — only two had life insurance, leaving the rest of us scrambling. That reality shook me to my core and lit a fire to change my family’s narrative , and help others rewrite theirs.
From growing up in Texas to building multiple businesses, speaking on big stages, and reaching millions online, my mission stays the same: help you grow in confidence, faith, and purpose, so your life can echo beyond your years.
